Sleipnir Huginn Scan — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Sleipnir Huginn Scan (“Scan”) is a Chrome extension that runs an accessibility scan of the page you are viewing, when you start one from its toolbar button, and shows the issues it finds. The scanning engine is packaged inside the extension. It is an internal tool, distributed privately.

Only the page you scan, and only when you start a scan: its content and structure, which the packaged engine checks for accessibility issues. Scan uses Chrome’s activeTab permission, so it can reach a page only after you click it there.

Nowhere. Scan has no native host and sends nothing to any server, including ours. It loads only files from its own package.

Scan results are kept in Chrome’s session storage for the extension, on your computer, and are cleared when the browser closes or the extension reloads. Scan keeps nothing else.

We do not collect, sell, rent or share any information from Scan, use it for advertising or lending decisions, or use it to train AI models.

We may change this policy; the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Questions: aryeh.kiovetsky@evinced.com.
